We specialise in turning hundreds of thousands, often millions, of scattered assets into structured, searchable asset libraries using Frontify. In addition, Navigate offers staff augmentation and implementation services for Digital Ads (Meta, Google, ChatGPT, Smartly), CRM, and AEO.

Frontify Services
We help Frontify clients with multiple aspects, primarily asset and guideline migration and metadata enrichment. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
| Attribute | Asset migration | White-glove extraction | Metadata enrichment | Guideline migration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The problem | Assets sit in folders nobody can search, but can be moved easily to an S3 bucket. | Files are in a legacy DAM that makes them hard to extract, or scattered across multiple platforms. | Assets have no metadata, are untagged, or have randomised file names. | Brand rules live in a PDF that goes stale. |
| What you get | Migration from S3 to Frontify, asset audit, taxonomy design, library architecture, end-user filters, pilot, admin handover. | Custom extraction tooling, folder structure and existing metadata preserved, reconciliation report. We handle the heavy lifting of moving the files out. | Tagging constrained to your glossary and agreed taxonomy, structured CSV for review. | Guidelines rebuilt as native Frontify blocks and migrated 1:1 into Frontify. |
| When it applies | Any move onto Frontify, single or multi-region. | No bulk export to S3, or limited client time to handle the export to S3. We are platform agnostic and have extracted files from multiple DAMs and storage platforms including WebDAM, Bynder, Canto, Brandfolder, SharePoint, Google Drive and Amazon S3, as well as bespoke and agency-built brand portals. | Large asset volumes where manual tagging is not viable. | Guidelines moving onto the platform alongside the assets. |
| Scale handled | We have worked with clients holding multiple millions of assets, and can scale quickly. | Direct-to-cloud transfer for libraries too large for a laptop. | Retainer-based batch processing available after the initial migration. | Full guideline sets, multi-brand. |
Delivery
Every migration is validated on a pilot before full-volume processing. Structural decisions are agreed against real assets rather than in the abstract.
A secure cloud bucket is provisioned and shared with your team. Source assets are uploaded with folder structure intact, since that structure is itself useful metadata. If we are engaged for white-glove extraction we handle that whole process. Otherwise the client is responsible for uploading to S3.
We audit what arrived and propose a metadata structure, agreed through workshops with the stakeholders who will use it. We strongly recommend adding metadata enrichment at this stage. It is where we build a customised lexicon and glossary with your team, in your own vocabulary, and use it to turn unstructured assets into organised, searchable data.
Approximately 1,000 assets migrated under the agreed structure, inside the live library.
A formal feedback round against the pilot. Structural adjustments are made here, before scale.
Remaining assets processed, a second review against the completed library, and admin and training documentation delivered to your team.
AI Metadata Enrichment
A platform's built-in AI describes what it sees in ordinary English. Our enrichment tags the same asset in your organisation's own vocabulary, and fills the custom metadata fields your filters run on. The tags and fields below come from live engagements. Imagery has been recreated so that client photography is not reproduced here.
Enriched fields become filters. On the rail library above, a search for a specific rail profile returns every asset showing that component, across thousands of images that previously carried a single tag reading "light".
Identifiers work differently. No vision model can read a UPC or a Shopify ID off a photograph. We populate those by parsing your file naming conventions and folder paths, and by joining the asset library to your product feed or PIM. That is what makes a packshot findable by SKU rather than by what it looks like.
Why Navigate
Beyond the services listed above, we take on DAM management and consulting engagements: library architecture, taxonomy strategy, governance and ongoing optimisation.
We develop custom tooling to extract assets from the existing DAM. This is usually the step that stalls a rollout.
Enrichment runs against your controlled vocabulary with sampled QA, not a generic model producing tags nobody searches for.
MSA and SOW structure, MFA, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, and a 72-hour breach notification SLA. Vendor security assessments completed.

Founded in 2020. We work directly with enterprise clients and agencies.
Managing Partner, Strategy
Previously GroupM, Disney and Smartly.io, where he led a 45-person global strategic accounts organisation.
Managing Partner, Technology
Previously Smartly.io and Microsoft, bringing a technology-driven, process optimisation approach to client adtech and martech stacks.
Beyond DAM
We offer the following on a project or staff augmentation basis.
Native Meta and Google Ads, plus adtech platforms including Smartly.io. Meta Blueprint certified across the marketing developer and advertising API tracks.
HubSpot, Attio and Zero. Configuration, data migration and workflow design.
Structuring content and entity data so brands get cited by AI search, using AirOps and Superlines. We also run and optimise ChatGPT ads.
Questions
Yes. Navigate Digital is listed as a certified services partner in the Frontify Partner Directory, typed for Frontify implementation, setup and migrations. We deliver work both directly for clients and alongside Frontify's teams.
We are platform agnostic and have extracted files from multiple DAMs and storage platforms including WebDAM, Bynder, Canto, Brandfolder, SharePoint, Google Drive and Amazon S3, as well as bespoke and agency-built brand portals.
That is what white-glove extraction is for. We assess what can be retrieved through the interface, the API or direct storage access, then build tooling to pull it while preserving folder structure and existing metadata. You receive a reconciliation report confirming what transferred.
Typically four to six weeks. The variable that moves the timeline most is extraction: getting assets out of the existing platform is usually the hardest part of a migration, particularly where the source system has no clean export. When we handle that step ourselves it stays predictable.
We build or ingest your company glossary and fixed terms list as a controlled vocabulary, then constrain enrichment to the taxonomy schema agreed in the workshops. A representative random sample is processed and reviewed before full volume. Existing metadata is merged rather than overwritten, and output is delivered as structured CSV you can inspect before anything is committed.
Yes. We offer a retainer-based approach for clients who keep adding assets after the initial migration. New uploads are enriched in batches against the same glossary and taxonomy schema agreed at the outset, so the library stays consistent as it grows rather than drifting back towards untagged files.
Yes. Several clients contract us for DAM consulting on its own, with no migration attached: library architecture, taxonomy strategy, filter and search design, governance, and ongoing optimisation of a platform already in place.
Alongside DAM work we run three further service lines, delivered on a project or staff augmentation basis. Paid media implementation across native Meta and Google Ads plus adtech platforms including Smartly.io. CRM implementation on HubSpot, Attio and Zero, covering configuration, data migration and workflow design. And answer engine optimisation, structuring content and entity data so brands get cited by AI search, using AirOps and Superlines, including running and optimising ChatGPT ads.
Yes. Both Neel and Emerson worked at Smartly.io for many years. Over that time they have implemented Smartly and built staff augmentation teams focused on implementing and optimising it for clients' paid social advertising.
Both. Some engagements are contracted directly with the client under our MSA and SOW; others are contracted through Frontify with Navigate delivering. We can complete enterprise vendor security assessments either way.
We have worked with clients holding several million assets. Large volumes change the extraction and processing approach rather than ruling the work out, and enrichment runs in batches once the pilot is signed off.
